St Georges & St Brides community council


The Community Council will be holding an Ordinary Meeting on Wednesday 17th November at 7pm. This meeting will be held virtually.
If you wish to join this meeting please email the Clerk on by Tuesday 16th November 5pm at the latest and a meeting link will be emailed by return.


Following new Welsh Government legislation issued in January 2021 "The Local Government and Elections (Wales) Act 2021" the Community Council now has the option to hold virtual meetings.

Our meetings are usually held every 2 months on the third Wednesday.

Agendas will be uploaded on this website a few days before the meeting.

All ordinary meetings have a public session.

Do you run a Local Charity or Community Group if so each financial year the Council are able to accept grant applications from you - are you looking for extra money for a project/purchase coming up, if so do contact the Clerk.

HRH Prince Philip 1921-2021

It is with deep sorrow that Her Majesty The Queen announces the death of her beloved husband, His Royal Highness Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh Friday 9th April.

The Community Council wishes to echo the sentiments of the Vale of Glamorgan County Council in offering condolences to the Royal Family for their sad loss.

An electronic book of condolences is available at for residents to sign.

Defibrillator at St Brides super Ely Hall 

The Council along with Welsh Hearts have purchased a defibrillator for outside St Brides super Ely Hall. It is fully automated so you do not need training to use it
